BOSS has released a WAZA-fied version of their best-selling pedal, the DS-1. The DS-1 is storied as one of the best distortion pedals of all time and has been found a place on numerous pedalboards. It has been recreated in a new analog form with a switch to revert back to the original circuit. It joins the Waza line alongside the HM-2 and the classic Blues Driver at $149.99

PRS has ventured in to the pedal would with the release of a trio of pedals. The entire array consists of a dual analog flanger, a optical compressor, and a transparent overdrive dubbed Horsemeat. PRS designed these pedals in-house at their Maryland facility and they are proudly made in the USA. And like all USA made things, they come with a hefty price tag. With the Horsemeat at $249, the Mary Cries Compressor at $219, and Wind Through the Trees dual flanger at $349.

Catalinbread has released a set of minimalist pedals named the CB Series. Each dirt pedal only has one knob to dial in the sound you’re looking for. Each pedal is designed to add a little oooph to your sound. Simplicity starts at $150 each!

Vicotry Amps has teamed up with Thorpy FX to release pedal versions of their amplifier family. These 5 pedals all feature Volume, Gain, and 3-band EQ knobs for dialing in the sound of their amp counterparts. With 5 different pedals there is a sound that anyone can get behind, from the high gain Kraken to the twang of the Copper. All 5 are available for $249.

This week’s mod shop pick is another gorgeous 335-style guitar, specifically a CS-356 in Faded Cherry. The flamed maple figuring rivals that of a tiger and rounded out with the broken diamond headstock. The reverse side, while not flamed, still has amazing wood grain making this guitar good-looking no matter the side. This one is listed at the Gibson Mod Shop at $4,799.
