With Digitech/DOD being bought and brought back from the dead they are set to debut some new gear this year at NAMM. The first of which is a re-issue of the classic DOD Overdrive Preamp 250. This circuit uses the LM741op-amp chip. There are several more pedals re-issues planned for the future. $109.99..

Marshall Amplification looks to jump on the pedal re-issue bandwagon with their coveted Blues Breaker. The original Blues Breaker’s are fetching several hundred dollars on the used market currently. Marshall would be crazy not to re-issue their classic pedals, including the Shredmaster and Drivemaster, with how the current market is for them. The new re-issue appears to be a through-hole pcb design which would stick more with the original circuit. Rumored price is $150~.

The Gibson Mod Shop has put out an absolutely stellar ES-345 Custom in Sparkle Orange. The ES-345 features a P-90 in the middle position and a piezo bridge pickup for a nice array of sounds. A gold Bigsby, gold tuners, and Parallelogram inlays round out the appointments on this one. Not sure if it’s quite worth the $6,099 pricetag!
