This week there’s a new sheriff in town, well he looks different at least! Plus new Adam Jones art and a new shoegaze reverb! (Where did all these shoegaze bands come from?!)
Your top flavors this week are:
Image: Strymon
Strymon is the industry standard when it comes to reverb and delay. Their Big Sky Reverb can be seen on numerous artists’ pedalboards regardless of genre. The Cloudburst is no exception. It creates lavish soundscapes and gorgeous ambient reverb with simple, straight-forward controls. The Cloudburst retains Strymon’s reliability in a small package. ($279)
Image: Blackstar
Donkey Kong isn’t the only one Blackstar has improved upon their Amped 1 floor rig with the Amped 2 100 watt amp floor pedal. This full package rig solution features 3 amp power response modes (EL34, EL84, and 6L6) , 3 power stages (1w, 20w, 100w), 3 amp voices (UK, USA, or Classic), and 4 studio quality configurable effects. All this is wrapped in a slew of I/O options to make this amp pedal rig thing work for you! Available for $649.99.

Victory Amps has redesigned their acclaimed Sheriff amplifier. It has been updated with a new look, retaining the black and gold styling, but with a centered and full scale look. The Sheriff features 100-watts and 2 channels spanning 2 decades of tones from the 60’s to 80’s. Available at $2369.
Image: Epiphone
The next art release from the Epiphone Adam Jones Les Paul Custom Art Collection has been leaked. The second art is Berserker by Frank Frazetta. This collection is also limited to 800 pieces and the second release is due around February 14th.
Look we’ll stop picking sweet Firebirds for our Gibson Mod Shop pick of the week when they stop releasing them! This week’s pick is a stunning Firebird Custom in gloss nitrocellulose Electron Purple. Decked in gold hardware and what appears to be “aged” Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups. This looker can be had for $4,999.
