Ibanez has released a budget version of the Tim Henson Signature Nylon string guitar. At first the Tim Henson Nylon wasn’t project to sell well, but has exploded in popularity thanks to several YouTube guitarist. The FRH features the same solid Sitka spruce top, Sapele back, Sapele sides with side mounted sound hole, and is available in 2 colors: Brown Sunburst Flat and Natural Flat. (Both $499)

Ibanez continues their gear release onslaught with the Pentatone Preamp. The Pentatone features analog pre boost, two band distortion, a noise gate, 5-band parametric EQ, and post boost. The pre-boost and 5-band EQ are both foot-switchable. The Pentatone Preamp is available for $249.

Catalinbread has added to their Formula line with the Formula 51. The new release pays true homage to the sound of a Fender Champ. The 51 features a preamp, power amp sim, and an output transformer to nail the sound of the classic one knob amplifier.
The Gibson Mod Shop had several LPC’s this week and we decided on this natural finish dubbed Dark Natural. The Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish allows the natural Mahogany to shine. Finished off with a stack of humbuckers including a covered 57 Classic™, 500T, and Burstbucker™ 2 top to bottom. Each pickup has its own volume knob in black to match the rest of the hardware.
